NEW ORLEANS — Industry Summit organizers announced today that United Development Systems (div. Brown & Brown Dealer Services)’ director of training, John Tabar, will present “How to Avoid F&I Burnout” at the upcoming 2019 event, which will take place Nov. 4–6 at the New Orleans Marriott.

F&I manager turnover is a serious issue for many dealers today, Tabar said, noting that limiting turnover in this critical role can contribute to higher variable operations stability, a more positive dealership culture, and a healthier bottom line.

“Talented, compliant and consistently productive F&I professionals can be key to variable profitability. If you have someone like that in your dealership, you sure don’t want to lose them to another dealership or another career because they get burned out,” he said. “Understanding how to avoid F&I burnout benefits the F&I manager, the dealer, all dealership departments, and the customer.”

The 30-year industry veteran and trainer said attendees of his session will learn what causes F&I burnout, how to identify the early warning signs of burnout and what to do to avoid this “career killer.” You will leave this session with practical techniques to limit F&I stress, increase production and realize full F&I potential.

More details about Industry Summit 2019 are available at the event’s website. To discuss sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo via email or at 727-947-4027.

Attendees who register by Oct. 4 will receive the $100 discounted rate. The first 100 active auto dealers and dealership general managers who register for this year’s event online with promo code F&I100 will receive their full show pass for no charge.
