Subaru’s U.S. sales spiked 28% in June to 55,168, driven by inventory increases and rising sales of its top-selling vehicles.
Among its top nameplates, sales grew:
24% for the Outback
29% for the Crosstek
34% for the Forester
June was the second consecutive month of U.S. sales growth for Subaru and the 11th consecutive monthly increase year-over-year. The automaker sold 304,092 vehicles, for a 15% jump in the first half of the year.
"With a strong first half of 2023 in the rearview, we're well-positioned to continue our sales growth and meet the demand for vehicles that speak to the lifestyles and needs of our customers," Senior Vice President of Sales Troy Poston said in a statement.
