DALLAS — Pearl Technology Holdings LLC is adding six-foot, four-inch touchscreen kiosks to its new Express Retail platform, ShowroomXpress (SRX). The kiosks, dubbed “Genius Stations,” are designed to allow dealerships to offer a more seamless experience for shoppers who start their vehicle purchase online and finish it in the dealership, or vice versa.

The system leverages Experian’s prescreen technology to calculate auto loan payments to the dollar in 10 seconds. The platform can also prequalify customers for financing without a Social Security number, proividing instant and exact payment calculations from every U.S. auto lender, according to officials.

Once a customer is prequalified, a salesperson can scan his or her driver’s license and a VIN number using a smart device to access the customer’s record up on the Genius Station. The station then displays the three "best" rates offered by three different lenders.

Salespeople and customers can also  toggle terms, adjust down payment or lease mileage and the system will adjust payments accordingly.

“SRX is a 360 degree retail platform that will allow dealerships to offer the most efficient and flexible retail buying experience the automotive industry has seen to date,” said Bruce Thompson, Pearl CEO and founder, noting that the dealer’s finance profit can be preconfigured in the terms the consumer sees.. “We wanted to help dealers transform their showrooms into the digital age and finally achieve 30- to 40-minute transaction times.”

The SRX platform can also work on a tablet or smartphone, allowing salespeople to engage customers in teh process from anywhere on the lot. When in idle mode, the Genius Stations become media-rich platforms that can display manufacturer video commercials, incentives, dealer specific commercials, service ads, and more.

The Genius Stations will be officially unveiled at the 2016 NADA Convention & Expo (Booth No. 2323C), which is scheduled for March 31-April 3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. For more, visit showroomxpress.com
