Larry H. Miller Store Manager Makes Top 25 Young Professionals List

Jarred Black, store manager of Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Lakewood, was named by ColoradoBiz Magazine to its sixth annual list of the Top 25 Most Influential Young Professionals in Colorado.

DENVER — Jarred Black, store manager of Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Lakewood, was named by ColoradoBizMagazine to its sixth annual list of the Top 25 Most Influential Young Professionals in Colorado. The program recognizes outstanding Colorado business and community leaders between the ages of 21-39.

Black, 29, was among the more than 300 individuals nominated based on their accomplishments and significant contributions to their businesses, industries and communities. The 25 selected as most influential are featured in the September/October 2015 issue of ColoradoBiz, and will be recognized during an awards program at Mile High Station in Denver on September 21.

“Jarred has shown himself to be a leader who is committed to excellence for his employees and customers,” said Ray Reilly, senior vice president of operations for Larry H. Miller Dealerships. “He is an active member of the community who devotes many hours to coaching youth basketball with multiple organizations. We’re proud to have him as a member of our team.”

Black joined Larry H. Miller Dealerships in 2012 as the used car manager for Larry H. Miller Liberty Toyota Colorado Springs, and in 2013, was named store manager for Larry H. Miller Volkswagen Lakewood, overseeing all aspects of operations and the store’s 80 employees. Black, who was selected to Automotive News 40 Under 40 Retail in 2014, began selling cars at the age of 18 and worked his way up through several dealerships. He attended Eastern Arizona Junior College.
