Calif. Court Rules GPS Nav Apps Illegal While Driving

In late March, a California judge ruled against a man who was cited by the California Highway Patrol for driving and looking at his smartphone’s GPS navigation app. The ruling means such apps violate the state’s prohibition on texting and making calls while driving.
