DALLAS — Organizers of the upcoming Compliance Summit announced that Jim Ziegler, president of Ziegler SuperSystems, will deliver the event’s keynote address. Compliance Summit will be held Sept. 11–12, 2017, at Dallas’ Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center, as part of Industry Summit.

In his first-ever Compliance Summit appearance, Ziegler will present “The Shape of Things to Come” at 9:05 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 11.

“In articles, speeches and training sessions, Jim Ziegler has remained steadfast in his belief that transparency sells and dealers are responsible for uncovering and eliminating noncompliant practices at their stores,” said David Gesualdo, show chair and publisher of Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom. “We are counting on him to get Compliance Summit started with a bang.”

Known to his fans and disciples as “The Alpha Dawg,” Ziegler’s 40-year career in the automotive industry began in retail and progressed rapidly. He is a nationally recognized trainer, writer, speaker and industry forecaster and has contributed to ADT and F&I, among other industry publications. Devoted readers know Ziegler has been a frequent critic of dealership personnel who flout the rules and regulations governing the sale and financing of vehicles.

“Compliance is nothing new to the Alpha Dawg. I’ve been talking about treating the customer right for 25 years,” Ziegler said. “I used to be the lone voice in the wilderness, and now I’m an elder statesman. But some things never change: Expect my usual, off-the-cuff, sometimes sarcastic, always irreverent style. And don’t ask a question if you don’t want to hear the answer.”

Registration for Industry Summit 2017 is open at the event’s website. To discuss sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo at (727) 947-4027 or via email.
