Toyota recalled nearly 34,000 vehicles across more than 21 brands after a products distributor noticed a load-carrying capacity sticker with an incorrect weight value.

Since an inaccruate weight figure could lead to an overloaded vehicle, posing increased risk of crash, the Japanese automaker is recalling potentially affected units in order to replace any incorrect stickers.

Gulf States Toyota, an official Toyota accessories distributor, installed the incorrectly modified stickers and is handling the recall, which affects 2023 to 2025 models, depending on the brand.

Toyota is scheduled to mail notices to owners on Sept. 16, and replacement weight stickers will also be mailed.

Recalled models are the:

  • 2023 GR Supra

  • 2024 4 Runner, Corolla, Grand Highlander, Grand Highlander Hybrid, Land Cruiser Hybrid, Tacoma, Tacoma Hybrid

  • 2023 to 2024 BZ4X, Corolla Cross Hybrid, GR Corolla, GR86, Highlander, Highlander Hybrid, Prius, Prius Prime, Sequoia Hybrid, Tundra, Tundra Hybrid and Venza Hybrid

  • 2023 to 2025 Crown

  • 2025 Camry Hybrid
