MCLEAN, Va. — Used-car prices rose 0.8 percent in February, well below the 3 percent increase observed during the same period in the previous two years. Prices are expected to be flat in March and then decline through April.
Both used-car and -truck prices stayed relatively stable despite a steep ascent in gas prices, according to the March edition of Guidelines, a monthly report from NADA that analyzes trends and pricing information on both the new- and used-vehicle markets.
