PALO ALTO, Calif. — Dr. Herbert Kohler, who has served as the director of Tesla Motors since 2009, submitted his resignation. Harald Kroeger was appointed by the board as the new director.
According to a Dec. 18 Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) filing, the change in directors “is a result of a natural transition of responsibilities at Daimler AG with respect to the development of electric vehicle powertrains.”
Kroeger most recently served as the vice president of electrics/electronics and e-Drive for Daimler AG.
