Santander Names Ismail Dawood CFO

Dawood will officially become the finance source's new CFO on Dec. 16. Santander’s interim CFO, Jennifer Davis, will serve as deputy CFO.

DALLAS —  Auto finance source Santander Consumer USA Holdings Inc. has named Ismail Dawood CFO, effective Dec. 16. The company’s interim CFO, Jennifer Davis, will now serve as deputy CFO, according to Santander.

Before joining the company, Dawood, 43, served as executive vice president and CFO of the Investment Services Division of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. He holds a master’s degree in business administration from the Wharton School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in finance from St. John’s University.

“We are extremely pleased to have Izzy Dawood join the SC team, where he will make a tremendous impact,” said Jason Kulas, CEO of Santander Consumer USA. “Izzy’s broad and deep experience in financial services, investment banking, capital markets, strategic planning and leading a publicly traded company will be critically important as SC continues to focus on driving shareholder value and delivering superior service to customers."
