The Reynolds and Reynolds Co. announced official details of its Reynolds Retail Summit: Amplify 2024. It will be held at Lansdowne Resort in Leesburg, Va., on Aug. 19 and Aug. 20. The annual event seeks to foster an environment where guests explore collaboration and innovation.

“Last’s year’s summit was a resounding success, and we’re excited to host yet another event this year,” said Reynolds President Chris Walsh. “At Reynolds, we strive to help dealerships improve their businesses by sharing knowledge, collaborating, and demonstrating how to use tools to maximize potential. The goal of this summit is to help dealers find new ways to amplify their outcomes.”

The summit will once again feature several educational workshops dedicated to looking at dealership processes and best practices, including:

  • FTC compliance

  • Data and security

  • Accounting

  • e-contracting and contracts-in-transit

  • Used vehicles

  • Service processes

  • Digital retailing

It kicks off with a community-building golf outing on Aug. 19 on the 7,063-yard, par-72 Robert Trent Jones Jr. course with its risk/reward holes and friendly yet strategic layout. The outing is open to event attendees on a first-come, first-served basis; those interested should register as soon as possible.

The golfing will be followed by a reception and dinner at the resort, which sits on the banks of the Potomac River a short drive from Leesburg and Dulles International Airport.

Interested guests should register by July 19 to secure a complimentary room at the resort.

Day two of the summit will kick off with breakfast and a keynote address, followed by workshops and lunch. Guests can also explore the Reynolds expo area to demo products.

Finally, Reynolds will celebrate innovation with the final round of its Automotive Amplifiers Contest. Individuals who have developed best practices in the areas of variable operations, fixed operations, or their local communities will have a chance to present their innovations to judges and guests. A winner in each category will be chosen on-site and receive a donation of $5,000 made in their name to the charity of their choice.

Flexibility is built into every aspect of the event, so attendees can tailor their summit experience, no matter who they are or what dealer management system they use.

“Dealers know their needs better than anyone, and they know where they want to see improvement,” Walsh said. “This year, just like last, we want them to leave the summit having learned how to grow their business.”

More information on attending the summit can be found here.
