RICHMOND, Va. — A man who abducted a nursing assistant was arrested Nov. 5 after police tracked the GPS device installed in his Ford Taurus. The device was installed by the dealership where the suspect, Delvin Barnes, purchased the vehicle due to his poor credit, The Washington Post reports.

Barnes was apprehended in Maryland after two detectives asked the dealership to activate the device. Barnes’ victim, Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, was with him at the time of his capture and was in good condition.
