PHOENIX — Citing the American Bankruptcy Institute’s latest report and resulting new marketing demands, OnlineBKmanager.com has announced the addition of a full-service mailing option offered exclusively to its active dealer base.

According to the American Bankruptcy Institute’s July 2019 Bankruptcy Statistics Report, year-to-date consumer bankruptcy filings have increased compared to the same time period in 2018. Nearly 450,000 U.S. households filed for bankruptcy protection in federal court between Jan. 1 and July 31. Of these, 63% filed a Chapter 7 and 37% filed a Chapter 13 bankruptcy.

In July alone, nationwide bankruptcy filings increased 3% over the same month in 2018. States with the highest 2019 increases are Hawaii (15%), Florida (10%), Nevada (7%) and New Hampshire (5%). Arizona, South Carolina, New York, Texas and Connecticut were not far behind with 4% increases each, all according to the report.

“Our dealer partners now have the ability to target BK customers the day after they file and discharge, at the first trade cycle after the BK and anywhere in between,” said Robert Davies, president of OnlineBKmanager.com. “We know 37% of our leads will buy within 30 days of discharge and most car buyers trade every four years. With this product addition, our dealers can easily and affectively target all consumers within the BK cycle.”
