TORRANCE, Calif. -- At the F&I Conference and Expo 2004, Jeff McGrath held the full attention of more than 600 attendees as he gave the crowd an in-depth look of what happens when dealers become the target of judicial investigations. He shared his experience with the infamous Gunderson dealership case and brought undercover videotapes, internal documentation and other behind-the-scenes action that added extra impact to the session.

This year, McGrath will discuss "Why Investigations Continue," which is sure to be one of the best-attended sessions indicated by last year's positive post-show response.

As a deputy district attorney and prosecutor for Los Angeles County, McGrath has been involved in a number of high profile cases during his 14 years with the district attorney’s office. The Gunderson Chevrolet case resulted in the criminal conviction of seven employees of California’s largest Chevrolet dealer and a civil judgment against the dealership. He has been a frequent speaker on high-tech related issues and was named the Deputy District Attorney of the Month for April 2002.

The F&I Conference & Expo will be held at the Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas Nov. 9-11, 2005. Last year’s attendance totaled more than 700, including dealers, general managers, F&I managers, exhibitors, lenders and other auto industry members.
