SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — A former used-car dealer pleaded guilty this month to two counts of using deceptive business practices for selling cars with incorrect odometer readings. He could face up to four years in prison or one year in the county jail for each count, reports ky3.com.

Ashley Bolton, who owned Excel Auto Group and also operated B and B Motors, pleaded guilty without being offered a plea deal. In 2012 and 2013, several customers of the auto group won judgments against Bolton in small claims court.
