DALLAS — EFG Companies announced the launch of Signature Finish Elite Appearance Protection, a new suite of F&I products designed to boost customer satisfaction and dealership PRU by providing more appearance protection options.

In a press release, executives said the products include a ceramic coating to provide exterior protection, UV blocker, and shine enhancement on surfaces that are unprotected by traditional paint sealants, such as body panels, glass, chrome, and rubber trim.

Ceramic coating provides longer lasting and stronger protection than traditional paint sealant, they added, citing a Brandywine Global Investment Management study that shows the average age of light vehicles in the U.S. is 11.7 years — and buyers of new cars typically keep them for about six years, enhancing the appeal of products designed to maximize resale value.
