CENTENNIAL, Colo. — CU Direct Connect (CUDC) has signed an agreement with Sonic Automotive to become the public dealer group’s preferred finance for its dealerships in Colorado. The agreement took effect on Aug. 1.
Through its 34-plus member credit unions, CUDC ranks as one of the largest auto finance sources in Colorado. Sonic Automotive has recently expanded its footprint in the Colorado market through the acquisition of two franchised dealerships this past August.
“We are proud to be a preferred lender for Sonic Automotive, as the program is great for the consumer members of our participating credit unions and will generate incremental business for Sonic as well making this a win-win for both organizations,” said Blair Korschun, CUDC’s president and CEO.
