The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence, or ASE, has been commissioned to conduct a series of studies to better understand which repair tasks are performed most frequently.

The latest survey is focused on suspension and steering repair tasks. Survey participants do not need to be ASE-certified to take the survey. As a thank you, ASE will randomly award a $100 Amazon gift card to each of five lucky individuals who share their time and experience by taking the survey.

As an industry-created and directed organization, ASE depends on the industry for input. Task lists and test questions are written by industry subject matter experts from independent repair shops, dealers, after-market suppliers, OEMs and trainers. The responses to the survey and the others in the series will help drive ASE certification standards, as well as technical training.

To learn more and take the survey by Feb. 7, visit its webpage here.
