IRVINE, Calif. — Vehicle intelligence provider Spireon received the Bronze award for its NSpire 3.0 Internet of Things platform in the 2018 Golden Bridge Awards for Innovation of the Year in the Automotive, Transportation, Storage, and Logistics category.

The NSpire platform is the foundation for the company’s telematics solutions, providing analytics and a vehicle data repository, with more than 326 billion driving miles to date. Spireon has received 11 awards in 18 months, showcasing the company’s commitment to delivering innovative products to solve the industry’s biggest challenges, complemented by unmatched customer service, according to the company.

“As the backbone of all Spireon solutions, NSpire collects 1 billion data events each month from millions of vehicles across the country and turns it into actionable intelligence for our customers,” said Rick Gruenhagen, CTO Spireon. “We are honored to be recognized for the unique value our platform offers to the connected vehicle industry.”

NSpire supports nearly 4 million active subscribers of the company’s solutions across all markets served, including GoldStar, Kahu and FleetLocate. In 2017, Spireon unveiled NSpire version 3.0, which added enhancements that dramatically increased scalability, type and volume of data collected, interoperability via open application programming interfaces and mobility support. As a result, Spireon delivered more new products to market in the past two years, than any other time in its history, including six major software applications, five new hardware devices and five new mobile apps, executives noted.

This is the sixth award for Spireon this year. Other wins include: IoT Vehicle Telematics Company of the Year in the 2018 Compass Intelligence Awards; FleetLocate was named Product of the Year in the 2018 BIG Awards for Business; a Silver award in the 2018 Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service; NSpire 3.0 earned a Silver for New Product or Service of the Year in the 2018 American Business Awards; and Kahu was named the IoT Innovator: Auto Dealership Management in the 2018 Compass Intelligence IoT Innovator Awards.
