Simple Recon Adds Amazon Alexa Skill

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. — Reconditioning solutions provider Simple Recon has built an Amazon Alexa-powered “skill” designed to allow dealership personnel to receive quick and reliable inventory updates.

Dealers can use the feature to create lists of units in need of reconditioning, track their progress through the cycle, and access a summary of the prior day’s completed or assigned work. The new feature is available to Simple Recon clients for no additional charge, according to Simple Recon’s founder, Smit Shah.

“We’re proud to be at the forefront of using this new technology to connect managers with their department and their performance,” Shah said. “Access to inventory status and department information is an important component of each dealer’s goal to turn inventory faster. As we move towards becoming an increasingly digital society, it’s important that we provide solutions that match the way dealers access information and do business, and in this case that means voice reports.”
