ORLANDO, Fla. — This year’s Industry Summit will include the first-ever Technology Shootout, a new feature designed to increase engagement and interaction among attendees and give technology providers an opportunity to showcase the latest advancement in digital sales and F&I.

Industry Summit will be held Oct. 8–10, 2018, at the Caribe Royale Orlando in Orlando, Fla. The Technology Shootout, which will include a series of 10 presentations of 10 minutes each, followed by an audience vote facilitated by the Industry Summit mobile app, will begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.

Any company serving the dealer segment — including tech firms, F&I product providers, and banks and finance companies — is welcome to submit a brief (500-word) description for consideration by Auto Dealer Today and F&I and Showroom’s team of editors and publishers.

Show chair and publisher David Gesualdo said submissions will be judged on value to attendees and impact on the industry.

“We have fielded a number of pitches and inquiries already, and it’s clear there is heightened interest among attendees as well as service providers to advance and optimize showroom and F&I processes,” Gesualdo said.

More information about Industry Summit 2018 is available at the event’s website. To submit an idea for Technology Shootout or discuss sponsorship and exhibition opportunities, contact David Gesualdo at (727) 947-4027 or via email no later than Thursday, July 26.
