HANOVER, Md.Hudson Cook LLP announced the addition of Angela Maynard Shovein as a partner. She will establish the firm’s Cleveland office.

“Angela brings skills and knowledge that will fit perfectly in the firm’s practice,” said Robert Cook, managing partner of Hudson Cook. 

Maynard will focus her practice on federal and state consumer financial services laws, and will specialize in legal compliance services for the financial services industry. Before joining Hudson Cook, Maynard served as counsel for Chrysler Financial and as general counsel and chief compliance officer for DeepGreen Financial.

Prior to that, Maynard spent 10 years with KeyBank, where she held the roles of senior counsel, SVP and chief privacy executive.

Maynard’s legal career spans more than 20 years, and she specializes in consumer compliance and privacy law. She also is a member of the Michigan and Ohio state bars.
